Ranni is the best starting point to trek to Vandipperiyar via Rajanpara, Nilackal and Sabarimala. It is trek of around 5-6days. Those who prefer a shorter route then they can choose the trek from Thriveni to Kochupamba via Ponambalam which is a half-day trek only.
