Day 01: Trivandrum - Varkala Beach
Arrive at the Trivandrum Airport. Divino Indian Memoirz representative welcomes you to Varkala Beach tour with backwaters. You will surprise to see the vibrancy of the God’s Own Country.
Our representative will accommodate you at the beach hotel located in nice environment. Rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy the beauty of Arabian beach.
Savor some seafood delicacies at the Varkala resort. You can have your own choice also. After dinner stay overnight.
Day 02: Varkala Beach
The entire day is for exploration of the Varkala beach town and the beach. This beach is visited by the spiritualists and nature lovers. It is a Hindu pilgrimage centre; people have a belief that the waters of Varkala have the mystic power to cleanse off the soul. Hence it is known as Papanashini” meaning purifier of sins.
You will visit the 2000 years old Vishnu temple and the meditation centre, Sivgiri Mutt.
Afternoon, explore the mystic aura of the sea beach replete with high cliffs.
Stay overnight at the Varkala hotel.
Day 03: Varkala - Kumarakom (Backwater)(140 Kms-3 Hrs)
After breakfast, our representative will take you to Kumarakom, a backwater destination in Kerala sought after by tourist due to its large stretch of backwaters and scenic natural beauty.
On arrival, take your backwater resort at Kumarakom. After lunch take rest.
Afternoon you will explore the birdlife at the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Enjoy a sunset cruise on the backwater canals of Kumarakom.
After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Houseboat (Alleppey)
Get up at your own time and have breakfast. You will check out the Kumarakom resort and head towards Alleppey.
On reaching Alleppey, you visit the temples of Alleppey and the town. You can pick up souvenirs at the markets.
After lunch you board your houseboat, traditional kettuvallams which is a not to be missed on a Kerala tour.
Boarding the houseboat you feel something different. A Kerala style interior soothes your mind. Enjoy the ride. Sailing on the backwaters it will move towards Thekkady. Dinner at the houseboat. Overnight stay.
Day 05: Alleppey - Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife)
After breakfast in the morning you check out the houseboat and get off.
Our representative will pick up you and accommodate you at a Thekkady Hotel.
Afternoon enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake and explore the wildfire on boat cruising. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is home to various wild animals.
After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Periyar - Munnar (Hills)
On the 6th day of the Kerala beach tour you will drive towards Munnar which is 120 kilometers from Thekkady. On arrival take your hotel. Our representative will assist you in hotel check in.
Afternoon, explore the spic and tea plantation gardens.
Day 07: Munnar hill station
You enjoy the whole day at the scenic hill station Munnar. You can trek through the trekking routes of Munnar if you are a trekker. Your Munnar tour includes visit to the Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary which houses rare Nilgiri Thar.
At Munnar you will discover more bounties of nature.
After dinner stay overnight.
Day 08: Munnar - Cochin
After breakfast you will be driven to Cochin, a city with colonial past.
On the way drive you will cross beautiful streams, waterfalls, rubber plantation, etc.
On arrival, halt at a Kochi hotel. Afternoon visit the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews town, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing Net and the Indo-Portuguese Museum. Visit to Cochin harbor.
You can shop at the market of Kochi.
Hang out at Marine Drive in evening.
After dinner stay overnight.
Day 09: Cochin - Departure
On the last day of Kerala tours with backwater and beach, you board your flight back home at the Cochin international Airport.
